Apologies for not replying sooner.
Yes...Hi there!

Apologies for not replying sooner.

Yes - the stone is different now. Our last visit was sometime ago but I understand that it's since been dug out and now displayed far more sympathetically.

Scrappfaggot Green is about a 1/2 mile from the old airfield, the junction was 'remodeled' to allow better access for the wider American construction vehicles. If you mail us at paranormalreason at hotmail dot co dot uk, we can let you know the exact location to save you wasting any more time trying to find it. Perhaps you already drove past it when you visiting the area.

Rumour has it that the witches remains were finally laid to rest at Little Waltham Church, a short distance from the Green. They were buried against the boundary wall, but we're not aware of the exact spot unfortunately.

Thank you for taking the time to reply, it sounded like you had an interesting adventure regardless! I just find it fascinating that a location can be ‘lost’ in such a relatively short time.

Mark.Paranormal Reasonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08254165540940891876noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8250480163106976768.post-24018472506913631292016-06-29T10:18:37.333+01:002016-06-29T10:18:37.333+01:00Very interesting. I also lived in Essex and persuaded my father to drive out there, but we couldn't find the location, despite quizzing a few bemused locals. Occasionally, over the years, I'd hoped others would have better luck getting to the bottom of the locations, if not the mystery. Well done on all your hard work, Rick BAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
